Unex Corporation, City House, Cambridge

The Fitnessworks flagship corporate gym, located at City House, is one of the most prestigious business properties in Cambridge.

The Unex Corporation contacted Fitnessworks to manage an exclusive fitness suite at City House, which is occupied by many influential companies including Sony, Deloitte Touche and Savills. Fitnessworks directed and organised the complete regeneration and re-branding of this premier fitness suite and continue to provide core-hour personal fitness trainers and effective day-to-day management of the corporate fitness facility at City House.

Shelford Rugby Union Football Club

Shelford Rugby Club, founded in 1933, runs five senior teams, a ladies team and twelve youth teams from under 7’s to Colts. Shelford’s First XV currently plays National Level 2 and competes in the Cambridgeshire, Eastern Counties Senior Cups and the EDF Trophy.

Fitnessworks conducted the complete refit of the gymnasium at Shelford Rugby Club, specifying fitness machinery and managing their installation. Personal trainers at Fitnessworks developed and implemented strength and conditioning programmes for all 50 members of the Shelford first team squad.

Headway Cambridgeshire Trustees

Headway House, a specialist brain injury centre in Cambridge, focus on supporting patients, their families and carers to come to terms with changed circumstances brought about by brain injury.

Fitnessworks designed and installed a gym, specially adapted for wheelchair users in their day care centre. Personal training programmes were developed for individual patients and one-to-one training sessions between patient and Occupational Therapists, were supervised.

Fitnessworks Personal Health and Fitness Centre, Hauxton, Cambridge

Cambridge’s first bespoke personal fitness training centre, constructed over 15 years ago, provide highly professional and effective personal training / lifestyle coaching for clients of all ages and abilities.

Fitnessworks is also recognised for their work with physiotherapists and doctors under the GP referral scheme, delivering targeted exercise programmes for clients recovering from injury or illness.
